Jacobs well is a community of people who want to follow Jesus’ example of living by developing authentic relationships and to engage with the people of the community.

Jacobs well began in 2005 with a group of people who seeded from chipping sodbury Baptist church. We started as a small group of families who have slowly grown, we meet in the local Ridgewood community centre.

The idea behind Jacobs well was to be church for people who wouldn’t normally come to church. We try to provide an alternative to textbook worship.

In 2009 we began our green space project. The aim was to share with the community in a simple, practical and healthy activity and by that means get to know people.

Bread making at the candle community centre on station road has been another Jacobs well project which has taught cooking skills for people in an affordable friendly way.
